Highways Team Leader: Papua New Guinea

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Highways Team Leader with experience of delivering projects in and around the Pacific Region.

Opportunity:

The client is leading International consultancy firm who are in the process of signing have an ADB funded road improvements project in Papua New Guinea. As Team leader you would be working as part of an International team on behalf of the client throughout the Design Review and possibly the Construction Supervision phases. It is expected that the project would begin; mobilisation would be later this year or early next.

Responsibilities on the project:

The Team Leader shall be responsible for leading an International team carrying out

feasibility study, detailed design and procurement support to ensure the high project readiness. The project in question is an ADB financed transport improvement program consisting of Road and port facilities.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent field
• 15+ years of Highways experience (
• Possess 5 years as Team Leader
• Experience during design and construction supervision of roads and bridges in rural areas.
• 15 years overall experience and 8 years in a similar position

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is to be confirmed but would expected to be around $10-11,000
