Engineering Manager - Steel Structures / Hong Kong

Engineering Manager with strong design (structural and Steel) experience required to work as a senior team lead on major build projects in South East Asia. The role will be based in Hong Kong and will offer the opportunity to work with a large Contractor coordinating design works for varied Civil/Build projects with a focus on Heavy Steel design. Candidates MUST speak Cantonese.

The role will work within the head and project offices. Design works will include structural design, detailed design, Steel and architectural design, tender writing and design review.

Ideal candidates will have the following:
-Specialist within Steel Structures
-Experience with civil, build projects such as warehouses, factories, airport, industrial, shopping etc
-Local experience in Hong Kong
-Experience managing and working closely with contractor design
-Degree qualified
-MIC / DSMA experience beneficial
- Must speak Cantonese

Candidates will be employed on a long term/permanent basis with local contracts. As such the role offers relocation but will not offer accommodation allowance. This will however offer a competitive local package and benefits. There is a great chance of progression through to more senior roles.
