Director Development / Poland

The client is international developer which is developing renewable energy projects in Poland. Due to the development on a polish market, we recruit experienced Director Development. It a very responsible role, which requires managing and coordinating the development of large-scale CHP biomass projects, driving progress through the whole chain.
 
Director Development is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, authorities, landowners, legal etc. The position also demands travelling to projects sites, up to 2-3 days per week; preparing and presenting status and progress reports. Director Development  also takes care of identifying and evaluating suitable sites for new biomass projects and renewable energy project opportunities in general. Director should stay fully informed on key market developments and industry news/events in order to quickly identify business opportunities.
 
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience and documented results in development of renewable energy projects in Poland and strong understanding of the process including regulations, development roadmaps, grid connection and permitting process in Poland. The candidate for this role needs to have good Project Management skills, experience in negotiations, analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, the candidate should know Polish and English fluently and be familiar with Microsoft office packages.
