Lead Piping Designer – Rig Building / Saudi Arabia

Function description

• Provide accurate detail piping design per project requirement in accordance with scope, budget, and schedule as assigned by project lead;
  
• Check design documents for quality and accuracy;
  
• Develop 2D drawings in AutoCAD and P&IDS;
  
• Assist Lead/Sr Engineer in the activity and deliverable of planning, scheduling and monitoring;
  
• Involve in bid estimation for man hours and materials;
  
• Input to Material Requisition, allocation and reconciliation;
  
• Reviews for overall completeness, general safety, access and egress, materials handling, maintenance and operability etc;
  
• Manage design deliverables issue (drawings, isometrics, MTO) and ensure the schedule compliance;
  
• Assist the Lead/Sr engineer in performance assessments of designers & establishing training needs;
  
• Ensure Compliance to HSES policies and procedures and all applicable information security policies & procedures and ensure compliance to project specifications and company procedures;
  
• Review of vendor drawings.
