QA/QC Mechanical Engineer / Oman

Looking for a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer for the international client in Oman. Experience in desalination projects are highly preferable.

Detailed working description:

Liason with Client and Subcontractor / Vendor for regular inspections at site and at manufacturer's premises.
Developing and reviewing ITPs, Method Statements and Procedures.
Maintaining requirements for Quality Management System for the organization.
Must be well experienced in different grade of piping and erection of Static and Rotary Equipment’s.
Should have experience in trouble shooting, punch list control and Project closure documentation.
Should have sufficient experience in different systems like firefighting, HVAC etc.
Should possess in depth knowledge in installation of compressors, pressure vessels, pumps etc. 

Main tasks/assignments to be carried out:

Organizing inspections and testing, including 3rd party inspection.
Supervise and recording piping work.
Control of welding activities and conducting necessary tests.
Scheduling inspections and testing.
Review of shop drawings and other submittal by subcontractor and vendors.
Liason with execution Engineer and Vendor during Project delivery.
Experienced in pressure vessels and field fabricated tanks.
Liason with Commissioning team.
Attending meetings with Client and Subcontractor /Vendor.
Preparation of mechanical completion and handing over documentation.
