Job Role / Responsibilities

The Construction Technical Support Engineer is responsible to manage and coordinate all technical tasks related to construction and installation activities in the Asia Pacific region.

• Support the Technical Office Manager, Construction Project Managers and Site Team during planning and execution of projects

• Optimize of wind farm site layout and installation strategy

• Support optimization of Crane and Wind turbine Lifting Plans during project planning and execution

• Following up the tooling list and related technical document update, support the tooling operation team for the tooling configuration.

• Release of Technical Documentation to meet Contract Requirements

• Presentation and training of internal personnel and third parties on Technical and Installation documentation to meet Contract Requirements

• Coordinate with other functions including Sales, Operations, BOP, Logistics, EHS, Quality and Service

• Support Construction function in the development of installation subcontractors

• Trouble shooting and Root Cause Analysis support during project execution for tooling and erection process

• Introduce new product (platform) installation concepts in APAC, including new tooling and new procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant field
• ?????????????
• Experience in wind industry is mandatory
• ????????????

• Familiar with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings

• Excellent IT skills including CAD/ MS Office/Sharepoint

• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English is essential, both verbally and written.

Salary Package

My client will offer a rate per hour and will also provide flights, accommodation, transportation, immigration support, payroll services and accident insurance on site.
