Installation Manager / Qatar

TAX FREE Direct Hire Job Oppotunity for an experienced Installation Manager to be based in Bahrain has just been made available by a leading EPC contractor. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for overall Offshore Planning and Execution
• Liaison with Client on daily basis for various Interfaces and Critical approvals.
• Sub-contracts management.
• Manage Field Engineers, Operations Engineer and Offshore Operation team.
• Finalization of Marine spreads (including equipment), timely mobilization of barges and their logistics management
• Offshore Installation Supervision and resolve any technical problems that arise during the execution project
• Identify the Risks in advance and implement effective mitigation strategy.
• Offshore operations optimization by cost effective innovative approach.
• Provide inputs to Bidding team as required.
• Ensures that the Project Progress is in line with Client’s requirement
• Ensures that Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Offshore Installation works are streamlines
• Ensures that project meets the requisite Quality and HSE requirements(HAZID/HAZOP)

To qualify, Candidate must possess the following:

• Degree in BS Engineering or Equivalent  or discipline specific qualification with proven industry related track record
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in offshore/onshore oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of HSE management systems and application of HSE working practices to a high standard
• Good communication skills (oral + written) in the English Language and Good organization & time management skills.
• Proven leadership skills in a multi-cultural and highly technical specialized environment
• Thorough understanding and application of industry process safety guidelines and procedures
• Ability to design, set, and implement operational objectives
• Highly motivated, flexible in approach and with a proactive mind set.
• Offshore/Onshore Construction Industry practices.
