Lead Naval Architect / Saudi Arabia

The client are looking to hire a Lead Naval Architect Engineer who will lead the Naval Design discipline for all assigned projects within our Shipping and MODU Business Line.

As the Lead Engineer, you will tackle new and evolving ship design and integration engineering challenges by applying naval architecture principles, techniques, calculations, procedures and criteria. The projects executed within the team cover the full range of ship design phases from conceptual design through detail design, and post-delivery support.

Your contributions will directly support the continued maturation of ship design solutions across all phases of design, undertake feasibility studies and tender document preparation for new projects as well as material engineering which includes preparation of Purchase specifications, Purchase requisitions, Technical bid analysis, Vendor document / drawing evaluation after order.

Based from our office in Dammam, KSA, you will oversee a team of Naval Designers and trainees as per IMIs commitment to training a new generation of engineers.
