Essential Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for Fishing, Casing Exit and Intervention job execution at the wellsite.
- Responsible for field operations involving Drilling and Workover Rigs.
- Run fishing and casing exit equipment and associated well intervention services as required.
- Use experience and knowledge of applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality and ensure flawless execution.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain inventory in the field, track usage of equipment, request additional tools or spares as required and ensure all equipment is returned after job completion.
- Operation of downhole tools in line with agreed procedures or job objectives.
- Advise and troubleshoot complex critical issues in Well Intervention.
- Ensure supplied equipment is fit for purpose and compatible with planned operation and with all other equipment required for the job.
- Provide front line support to customer during operations.
- Provide input for on-going fishing operations to onshore engineers and client to aid planning and decision making during execution phase of well intervention operations.
- Document operations accurately as required for completion and customer paperwork
- Continue to expand application knowledge and expertise to include new applications of increasing complexity and risk.
- Handle special projects as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Technical or engineering degree or sufficient field experience.
- Competent in oilfield operations, particularly good knowledge of downhole dynamics and operating downhole tools.
- Significant experience in Fishing and Intervention operations
- Knowledge of Drilling and Workover Rigs and Snubbing Units.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis and providing solutions.
- Must be willing to travel and work flexible schedule as required.
- Valid Driving License.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work in team.
- Good attitude for learning new technology.
- Readily adaptable to changing circumstances and work schedules.
- Ability to comprehend technical concepts and to handle harsh environmental conditions.
- Willingness to work according to schedules assigned by management.
- Willingness to help and learn other service lines.
