Planning Manager

The main responsibilities are:

Engage with and manage consultants, technical review experts, landowners, agents and solicitors.
Prepare and co-ordinate planning applications, appeal documents, planning compliance submissions and monitoring reports.
Establish contacts with planning authorities and councilors.
Organize and assist at public events when necessary.
Create and maintain project documentation to ensure the standards set by Company and outside agencies.
Deliver projects within budget and on time.
Manage problems, challenges and complaints relevant to the role.

Requirements:

Must have an academic degree, preferably in a planning/environmental discipline.
Have a minimum of five years post-qualification experience.
Have experience in the planning and development of major infrastructure projects and the entire Hungarian planning and permitting process. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
An excellent network among landowners and permitting authorities.
Should be familiar with current IT software packages including Microsoft Office, GIS experience is a plus.
Excellent project management skills.
