The client is recruiting for a Process Engineeer role in Mumbai, find below job details
Prepare process design and to support Proposals and Projects for the Business Unit.
? Provide information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the proposal and project teams with regard to all aspects of Process Engineering.
? Perform a thorough review of customer’s inquiry and/or Request for Process Design information
? Support the R&D team as and when required and contribute to IP innovation.
? Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), P&IDs and Heat and Material Balances
? Perform a techno- economic analysis of the process design and compare it with the competitive process design
? Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets
? Prepare material selection designation (diagram) for plant requirements
? Develop innovative ideas and alternatives to be cost competitive with Proposals
? Participate in HAZOP studies.
? Assist in Plant start-up and performance testing, as required
Qualification and Experience:
? M Tech/ B Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
? Minimum (2) years of process design and engineering preferred
? Experience in process simulation required
? Experience in process plant operations and troubleshooting would be preferred.
? Experience in project engineering or operations is desirable
Skills Required:
? Experience in process design and engineering for chemicals plants is required. Experience in Oil and Gas industry would be preferred.
? Strong working knowledge on any of the Process simulators like Protreat, Aspen Plus, Promax, HYSYS, etc. is required
? Able to work with minimal supervision.
? Experience in process plant operations, start up and trouble shooting.
? Able to prioritize work load and meet deadlines.
? Effective analytical and problems solving skills.
? Creative and innovative.
? Ability to communicate effectively.
