Quantity Surveyor / Australia

The client is the well-established Melbourne branch of a respected international cost and building consultancy which as a strong footprint in the commercial, health and infrastructure sectors and limited exposure to the residential market.

With a robust pipeline of work already secured, recent project wins have created the opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their already growing team. Dealing primarily with major commercial and transportation infrastructure projects, the new team member will provide full pre and post- contract services from feasibility budgeting to the preparation of claims as well as oversee work undertaken by junior members of staff.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in dealing with multi- million dollar projects for major corporate or public sector clients as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is essential. AIQS or MRICS are highly regarded by the organisation, as is prior experience of working in Australia.
