Reporting to the Technical Manager and responsible for ensuring all work carried out conforms with COMPANY requirements and industry good practices, meets all requirements of the contracts specification and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budges and procedures.
Stimulates challenges and supports the EPC Contractor to strive for easy/simple solutions and to avoid unnecessary changes.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the scope under supervision. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Interface coordination responsibility of the plant wide interfaces (internal and external) with all parties involved, including EPC Contractor, external parties, external contractors, etc.
Owner of project master interface register and ensure that the register reflects the latest agreement of interface parties.
Coordinate planning, timing and agreement of interfaces.
Plan, Freeze and Monitor the Need date of interfaces and inform key stakeholders of any constraint in achieving those dates, as per the schedule.
Communicate regularly and effectively with all parties involved in the interface in order to keep the momentum.
Liaise with third parties involved in the interface.
Conduct regular meetings with Interface parties to ensure alignment on scope, schedule and cost.
Involve Company engineering in all interfaces requiring their input.
A prime responsibility is the development and maintenance of good and beneficial relationships with, contractors, partners, vendors, local Company organisation and other Company businesses and third parties such as Early Works or Mechanical Contractors.
Ensure that the relevant Local and International regulations are followed by the Contractor and Vendors.
