Requirements Manager / Australia

A well known tier 1 contractor is looking for a Requirements manager to join there busy rail systems division, in Perth Australia.

The Requirements Manager shall supervise and manage the Design Build Contractor to ensure that the contractual requirements are fulfilled, as a minimum, by means of an approved, systematic requirements management process, so that a fit-for-purpose Metro is built and the Client's risks are minimised.
Throughout the project lifecycle from design, procurement, manufacturing, testing and commissioning phases.

Main duties:
The Requirements Manager shall:
Review and comment the Contractor's Requirements Management Plan
Review and comment all Requirements and Satisfaction Statements
Allocate, as required, requirements data to systems engineers for comments
Collate and respond all comments to the Contractor
Challenge the Contractor's Requirements Satisfaction arguments
Attend regular Meetings with the Contractor
Ensure the Project Time Plan is met
Report non- compliances to the Engineering Manager
Report Risks to the Risk Manager and Engineering Manager
Supervise the Requirements Engineers assigned to sections
Support Discipline Engineers to ensure that all requirements are identified and satisfied
Support the Test & Commissioning Manager to ensure that all necessary tests are conducted
Support and contribute towards the Systems Assurance function


Experience required:
Total working experience: 15 years or more railway engineering experience
Particular relevant experience: 8 years or more in Requirements Management.
