Offshore Construction Manager

The client is looking for an experienced OCM to work on board a Pipe-Lay Construction vessel and FPSO operating in West Africa.
The Offshore Construction Manager will report directly to the vessel's Master.

• Vessel Type: DP3 Pipe-Lay Construction/ FPSO
• Location: West Africa - Nigeria
• Contract: onshore (office) and offshore (onboard)
• Start date: 1 April 2020
• Day Rate: 850 USD

Job Responsibilities:
-Provide operational input to installation procedures
-Assist the Captain and Crane Operator in assessing whether the site conditions are suitable for making the lifts
-Liaise with vessel Bridge, Crew and Client

Experience required:
• Previous offshore supervision of heavy lifts from DP construction vessel, Topside Lift experience is essential.
• Previous experience working in West Africa/Nigeria
• Experience with installation procedure development, loadout and offshore installation
