Geotechnical Engineer / Singapore

This is a 5 days work week to be based in central Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Design of temporary works (e.g. ERSS, Ground Improvement and Piling works etc. for deep excavation tunnels for LTA Projects) related to geotechnical design
Coordination of geotechnical works during construction process
Assist project department in solving design related matters
Liaise closely with internal and external parties as well as the authorities to resolve geotechnical design discrepancies and construction issues
Ensure design and drawing approval with regard to temporary works
Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issue
Coordination with authorities for updates and submission of project design
Other duties as required

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years' engineering experience in geotechnical works
Good skills to run FEM analysis (e.g. Plaxis-2D or 3D) and calculate mechanics using Eurocode for ERSS & Pile design related to shallow/deep excavation
Experience in Infrastructure projects is mandatory
Site experience in MRT or Underground roadway project is preferred
Good English skills, both verbal and written communication
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines and requires minimum supervision
Good knowledge of local authorities' requirement and Eurocode
Positive attitude and good discipline and good team player
