Project Controls Systems Analyst

Our client, a global leader in resources, is looking for a Project Controls Systems Analyst for their mega LNG Project based here in their Perth Office. Reporting to the Project Controls Systems Coordinator, you will provide ongoing daily support for the use and running of the Project Controls application (Pims) within the Project including functionality in Document, Cost, Risk, Interface, Contract and Completion Management and other modules/workflows to be developed.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the appropriate allocation of risks through the selection of the most effective commercial pricing models.
• Ensure that selected Pims modules are set up, implemented and utilised in accordance with Project requirements and users have seamless and efficient use of the modules and workflows across all areas.
• Evaluate, coordinate and develop improvement opportunities within the Project Controls application alongside Project Controls Systems Coordinator and Pims Engineer - conduct thorough UAT testing of enhancements and upgrades prior to implementation.
• Assist in the development, modification, and maintenance of governing procedures and configuration documentation.
• Develop, modify, and maintain reports in Pims as required.
• Creation of Purchase Requisitions in SAP which are streamed into Pims.
• Coordinate and execute training for Pims users, including site inductions, onboarding and other project utilised software.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years' IM/IT experience in system administration, support and training in a major project and/or operating environment.
• Degree in related field along with experience in Australian upstream oil & gas projects ideal.
• Previous experience with project controls systems in a major project and/or operating environment.
• Demonstrated experience in business requirements gathering, analysis and documentation with a practical approach to problem solving and an understanding of users' needs.
• Highly effective communication skills.
• Prior use of SAP/ERM systems advantageous.
