Introduction

The client is pleased to offer the following key contract position: Senior Buyer / Purchaser

Work Location: Stavanger

Start date: 04.05.2020 - 30.04.2022

Description

• Establish bidders list and package strategy
• Compile and issue inquiry
• Handling of supplier clarifications
• Bid opening and commercial evaluation of bids
• Arrange and perform Bid Clarification Meetings
• Issuing of joint bid recommendation
• Contract negotiation
• Compile and issue purchase contracts and purchase orders
• Handling of warranty issues and liquidated damages
• Follow-up and ensure that performance and quality controls are put in place for 3rd party supplier service and surveillance commensurate with the criticality of the service/product
• Ensure that applicable Terms & Conditions are used and met, including Frame Agreements
• Procurement Cost forecasting reporting

Requirements

Required Education:

• Technical, economical or legal education on a Bachelor level or higher

Required Work Experience:

• 5-10 years relevant experience
• Experience from EPCIC projects is an advantage

Required Qualifications:

• Commercial awareness with negotiation skills
• Execute and deliver quality work on time and within budget
• Proactive, positive and dedicated with excellent collaboration skills and ability to take ownership
• High work capacity and follow procedures and work instructions
• Professional and independent
• Good communication skills, English and Norwegian, written and oral
