The client is pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Machinery Engineer  

Work Location: Stavanger

Duration: ASAP - 08.03.2021

Description

? Have a responsibility to ensure the facilities integrity and machinery systems during each assets life cycle

? Contribute to FEED-studies, development projects and operational support within machinery discipline

? Conduct independent verifications, peer review, assurance review as part of GATE approvals

? Participate and contribute to technical audits and verifications within machinery discipline

? Determine and develop company functional requirements within machinery discipline. Equipment surveillance and failure analysis.

? Participation in Standardisation Committees within machinery discipline

? Prepare governing documents including implementation of requirements, work processes, tools and procedures

? Facilitate competence development , including proposal and follow-up of findings within his/ her area

? Review of technical requirements for major contracts awards

? Support and assistance to Operations during maintenance and inspection campaigns and contribute towards problem solving and debottlenecking.

? Ensure standardisation within machinery discipline

? Prepare work document packages, related to maintenece and modification activities and follow-up of requirements in specialized field.

? Review and approve drawings and documents according to governing documents and prevailing rules and regulations.

? Contract representative / administrator

Requirements

? BSC or MSc within machinery engineering

? Have in-depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations and standards

? 5-10 years relevant experience

? Good oral and written communication skills

? Strong team player with proactive approach to the decision making process

? Good at problem solving issues

? Be proactive and secure good internal and external communication and cooperation

? Flexible with regards to cross over working tasks
