Piping Engineer / The Netherlands

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering;
• At least 10 years of experience as a 3D piping designer in equipment arrangement and piping layout;
• Knowledge in 2D/3D drafting activity;
• Understanding and operating skill in Autocad Plant 3D, CADWorks and Autocad Inventor;
• Experience on piping design for various process plants and skid attached units is a must;
• Working knowledge in drafting isometric for piping drawings for process plants in 3D software is indispensable;
• Familiarity from project start to final completion is essential, site piping erection knowledge is beneficial;
• Must be able to work cross functionally with team members at all stages across numerous departments
• involved in different projects;

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transmit out all proper design work assigned utilising the company’s software and hardware packages;
• Set up piping projects in 3D software;
• Perform arrangement development of plant equipment for efficient piping design;
• Execute piping design from preliminary concept to final isometric sketch production;
• Interface with pipe stress engineers to decide any pipe routing issues;
• Develop company standards for piping design;
• Be familiar with the relevant items and procedures of the project;
• Supports other divisions as may be required in providing drawing, sketches for operational, demonstration and tender and proposal requirements;
• Perform special tasks as assigned.
