Freelance/Contract: Site Planner / Germany

The leading Energy recruitment specialist is seeking a Site Planner for a well established company based within Europe, winner of a large number of iconic power projects.

5/8 years of Construction of Power Plant experience

German and English written and spoken

The main responsibilities are:

• SP will report to SM

• Issuing and updating the general schedule of the project to be sent to the Owner, taking into account the returns received in programmatic terms from other related projects;
• Introducing into the project general plan the information from the on-site detailed schedule in coordination with the Construction Manager;
• Checking permanently the progress of the order;
• Taking care of the issue of progress reports (stressing possible critical aspects in terms of time, costs, and quantity).

• Develop a detailed construction schedule closely with both the PM and the SM,
• Verify, closely in co-operation with the PM and SM, the feasibility of construction schedules with the deliveries of documents and materials;
• Update and monitoring construction schedule and the works progress;
• To assess the impact on work progress of Project changes and changes of quantities;
• In liaison with the Material Manager, update the material availability status;
• To evaluate the Direct Manpower deployment, to update the actual progress and collect the man-hours spent;
• Implement the Site project control procedures;
• Prepare his/her own section of the Monthly Progress Report (MPR).
