The client is responsible for delivering quality service, safely, on time, within budget whilst ensuring the technical integrity of onshore and offshore assets. We actively promote the highest standards of HSEQ and at all times act within their Just Care procedures.
One of our ongoing projects requires a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based in our Dyce office.

Responsibilties and Tasks
  • Perform PRE (Package Responsible Engineer) / Task Lead function as part of the mechanical discipline team
  • Functional reporting to mechanical discipline manager and project engineering manager
  • Undertake and manage defined tasks and scopes, to include management of workload priorities in line with Client schedule requirements
  • Familiarity with project controls interface, including planning, progress reporting and management of change
  • Familiarity with design codes and industry standards associated with design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of pressure / static equipment.
  • Familiarity with mechanical discipline requirements for all project phases from front-end /concept through detail engineering to project close-out.
  • Experience of local regulations and best practice process is mandatory
  • Shall possess a strong mechanical background including experience working with packaged mechanical equipment and vendors. This shall include providing mechanical operations support for pressure / static equipment, with rotating equipment and tech safety experience beneficial
  • To undertake task lead duties as required and assist in meeting project requirements and performing all technical duties in a highly competent and efficient manner
  • Carry out offshore site visits / surveys as required

Qualifications and Personal Attributes
  • Educated to degree level in engineering discipline
  • CEng (preferred) or working towards
  • Valid offshore survival and medical certificate
