Contract: Senior Electrical Engineer - Brownfield Market / Scotland

Our Brownfield Engineering Team based in Aberdeen require an innovative, experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for for the development of associated workscopes and deliverables as per our client's requirements. We need a talented/experienced individual who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the brownfield market. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to fulfil this role.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Execute technical duties in a competent and professional manner and in accordance with company procedures
• knowledge of electrical design software
• Manage electrical scopes of work provided by the contract / project management team ensuring the discipline scopes of work are fully defined and in accordance with the client's requirements
• Prepare engineering concepts and develop and execute detail design
• Prepare CTR estimates for electrical scopes
• Prepare and co-ordinate discipline related scopes of work, specifications, reports, calculations and documentation
• Review and comment on vendor information and assist with inspection and testing
• Carry out single and inter-discipline checks and reviews
• Carry out onshore / offshore survey and answer site queries

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• BEng/BSc Degree (preferred)
• Chartered Engineer (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years engineering design experience in the offshore oil & gas industry
• Knowledge of discipline related software systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good team working skills
