I am currently looking for a Structural Subsea Engineer based in France.
This is an immediate position which is due to last 12 months.
Key activities:
• Detailed design of pipeline crossing works, span supports, structures to protect pipes against falling objects (anchors, drill rods, containers, etc.), isometric end pieces intended to accommodate the end elongations line ("spools & jumpers").
• Fatigue resistance analysis (sea currents, production starts and restarts, the history of stresses induced in the line during the installation, pre-start or production phases.)
• Calculations of thermal elongation, anchorage length and the estimation of the compression stresses induced by the soil resistance and the analysis linked to the buckling of the pipes under pressure and temperature constraints.
You will also need knowledge of the applicable codes and standards (DNV, API, ASME, PD, CFR).
Please note that the successful candidate must speak French
