Site Supervisor - small works / Australia

The well established client who offer construction services to the commercial and entertainment sectors are looking to bring on board a Site Supervisor to oversee small fast track fit-out projects valued up to $1mil. 
You will be part of a supportive team based in Melbourne, overseeing work being undertaken which will mostly be in the city centre. 
 
 As the Site Supervisor you will be directly responsible for the control of small site teams and their activities, including:

• Co-ordination of sub contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries 
• You will be required to help on the tools at times so a carpentry background is desirable
• Liaison with the commercial team to identify variations and claims
• Managing OHS compliance on site including site induction

To be considered for the role of Site Supervisor you will require:

• Experience in Commercial Fit out/Refurbishment 
• Trade experience in the fit-out sector
• Sound knowledge of the Vic construction market including sub contractors etc
• Good management skills with the ability to motivate and drive both direct and sub-contract labour
• Drive and focus to progress career 
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills
