Qualification
- Engineering and / or Business degree and /or diploma with experience in oil and gas industry in multi-discipline engineering, procurement and construction environment. Preferably having formal training in supply chain, logistics and membership with recognized chartered or other professional institution.
- Relevant years’ experience for degree holder or Minimum years’ experience for diploma holder in similar position in Oil & Gas sector.
- Experience in GCC is desirable.
- Previous experience supervising and managing EPC Contractor is required.
- Previous experience in Project Management role is required.
- The candidate should have sound working knowledge on materials for offshore platforms and subsea equipment.
- In-depth understanding of EPC Engineering, Procurement, Expediting, Inspection and Logistics, Construction, Commissioning etc.
- In-depth schedule development and manufacture processes.
- Ability to resolve complex problems that have implications beyond Procurement,
- Available for technical missions worldwide.
- Language: Fluent English,
- Computer literate,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
- Good analytical skills,
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices.
- Overall coordination of early tie-ins equipment procurement (if required) in close link with Contract Engineer.
- Overall coordination of Long Lead Items (LLI) procurement in close link with Contract Engineer.
- Follow-up of Long Lead Items (LLI) from PO placement to delivery.
- Participate in Call for Tender (CFT) process for EPCI contracts: development of CFT package documents, clarifications, review of contractor evaluations, and award.
- Review and coordinate, in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements, the various documents issued by Contractors and Vendors.
- To oversee Contractor’s Procurement team - procurement, expediting, inspection and logistics during the execution of the project to provide assurance of quality and timely delivery.
- Work with Company’s Engineering and QAQC department on vendor’s evaluation and selection criteria and participate in Vendor’s audits if necessary.
- Evaluate Vendors and Contractors performance during execution of the project and set up resolution for procurement related issues in a timely manner.
- Participate to Spare Parts management / procurement providing guidance to Contractor and coordination with MP/FOPS department, end users and warehouse.
- Participate to Contractors and Vendors’ mobilization for all phases of the project.
- Ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects is considered in the design performance.
- Identify any potential deviations from the Company referential.
- Identify any anticipated deviations to the initial plan and propose mitigation actions to management.
- Provide assistance for answers to technical queries, to deviations/concession requests, and to change order requests.
- Provide assistance for answers to internal project audit sessions (PR, HAZOP, etc…),
- Participate in the project technical review sessions with Company, Contractors and Vendors teams.
- Manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office) when required.
- Ensure Procurement progress reporting and risk reporting to project management.
- Develop any procedures and execution plans within area of responsibility.
