Contract: Electrical Engineer / Germany

The client a Global Chemical manufacturer are looking to engage with an Electrical Project Engineer to join an existing team to work on a variety of upgrades and modifications to existing process plants across the facility. This role is based in Antwerp and Dutch speaking is highly desirable. 

Previous experience in a plant, modification and site experience in a top tier COMAH Manufacturing environment is essential. Familiarity with current belgian standards and belgian legislation required to enable delivery of compliant work to a high standard.

Desired Experience:

• Extensive and relevant Electrical project experience in a Chemical Manufacturing (or similar) environment
• Electricity at Work Regulations
• Functional Safety standards (FSEng preferred)
• ATEX standards (CompEX ex 12 preferred)

• Work allocation / progress monitoring
• Equipment specification & procurement
• Task planning
• Progress reporting
• Electical Audits
• Single cable calculations
• Electrical hazardous area specification
• Functional testing specification
• Propose Electrical solutions

Qualifications:

• Relevant Engineering Degree or HNC minimum with demonstrable experience
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Literate

• Amtech ProDesign
• Electrical design standards
