Contract: Senior Engineer Pipe Support / Norway

Work Location: Stavanger

Start date: 02.03.20 - 31.12.20

Applications will be processed and continuously evaluated.

Description

• Manage 3D design and have good experience in use of PDMS

• Produce PDMS Draft drawings

• Carry-out MTO export

• Be familiar with laws, standards and norms applicable for the discipline

• Insert data to engineering registry

• Understand principles and good experience with piping arrangements, and supports

• Have knowledge in use of 2D export and use of Microstation

• Have knowledge to other main areas within pipe support (stress, layout, material handling etc)

• Participate in and give input to design review

• Give input to estimation related to own scope

• Be able to use 3D review tools in own work

• Have some understanding about materials technology

• Contribute in the preparation of technical requisitions

Requirements

Required Education:

• Masters or bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering

Required Work Experience:

• 5 -10 years of fresh experience PDMS Pipe Support Modelling / draft and Piping Experience in Engineering, Detail Engineering, Prefab and Installation Follow-on and As-Built phase in the Oil & Gas industry in Norway

• Fully conversant with PDMS Piping /EIS

• Equinor experience is preferable

• Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian(preferable) both orally and in writing

• Be systematic and accurate

• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements

• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
