Cost Accountant - Manufacturing Sector - ($70K per annum) / Australia

This role represents a great opportunity for a motivated Cost Accountant to join a highly respected manufacturing company. This business is Australian owned and operated and they are widely regarded as a market leader. The position has been created as a result of growth and the need for a Cost Accountant now exists. You will enjoy great support from a well credentialed finance and commercial team. 

The role will form a critical part of supporting the business in product development. You will collect and analyse data and information in order to estimate costs associated with manufacturing a product. The position will work collaboratively with others toward cost target objectives. You will set up new items and maintain current items in the ERP system for a number of manufacturing sites across Australia. Additionally a key function will be to actively participate in new product development and assist the sales team with product costings. Reviewing half year cost updates and maintaining databases is also required. 

We are seeking a degree qualified candidate with a minimum of 18 months experience working in a Cost Accountant role in Australia. You will possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as exposure to ERP systems. This is a permanent role with an employer of choice in the Australian market.
