Sr. ArchiCAD Drafter - North West Sydney / Australia

Residential building company is looking to recruit a Senior Drafter for a role in their NW Sydney office. This Builder is committed to building high quality homes throughout Sydney Metro and are bringing their drafting in house. After a recent surge in work in NSW they now have a vacancy for a Senior Drafter to join lead their team of 8 Drafties. 

This role is offered on a permanent fill-time basis. 

Duties will include

• Provide drawings and documentation for tenders, masters and site
• Preparing sketches, plans, working drawings and site specifications
• The ability to produce details documentation of site plans
• Check developer guidelines & plan all sub requirements
• Lead a team, delegate work and check work 
• Report to the Drafting Manager 

Experience Required: 

• 8+ years Drafting experience in the residential construction sector
• Experience as a 2IC or Team Leader for a drafting team of any size 
• Good Knowledge of Building Code of Australia 
• A good eye for detail and the ability to produce high quality work first time
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment and the ability to time manage in order to meet deadlines without compromising quality of work
• Experience on volume housing projects like house/land packages and subdivisions.
• Advanced level ArchiCAD skills
