Project Manager - Power Generation Upgrade
Job reports to - Assets Engineering Manager
Location - Hoofddorp
Purpose:
The role holder is responsible for all aspects of co-ordinating and managing the Power Upgrade project for the Markham J6A Asset. He is responsible for ensuring that the project is ready for installation during the 2020 TAR (June) 2020 and can be commissioned and operational thereafter. He should manage design and installation contractors and package vendor to deliver it. In addition he should initiate, supervise and coordinate any changes to scope; investigate, plan and prepare work programs for proposed adjustments, manage the project budget and plans so that the work is delivered as per AFE, be in compliance with all governmental and company regulations and legislation, policies, procedures and standards, including HSEQ (ie HAZID/HAZOP's, LOPA's, Safety Case changes, Perf Std's, CDM, etc.). Is responsible for commissioning of modifications and document updating / as- building and project close-out.
Accountabilities:
1.PROJECT SCOPE
The project is already in detail design phase therefore the scope is defined and agreed. Ensure colleagues/Technical Function provide the right technical expertise and insight for making changes to existing installations and identify HSEQ and other operational implications of change. Filter, prioritize and assign responsibility of activities for agreed changes.
2.EXTERNAL PARTIES
Involve external parties to deliver the agreed programme of work. Identify, select and negotiate with external parties, in cooperation with Procurement, to obtain best terms and conditions and ensure awareness of and compliance with SE HSEQ policies, procedures and standards onshore & offshore.
3.WORK PROGRAMMES
Establish work programmes for execution. Provide detailed facility planning, prepare technical documents and identify specifications and materials required to deliver the scopes. Work with third parties to install and commission required scopes.
4.ENGINEERING
Perform engineering activities, provide technical and facility engineering support to offshore changes, in accordance with approved specifications, regulations and rules, in order to improve operability and maintainability. Ensure all facilities engineering work is conducted in compliance with all relevant governmental legislation and company policies, procedures and standards, including HSEQ.
5.DOCUMENTATION
Produce project engineering and planning documents for all the offshore facilities, so that up to date documentation is on file and readily available. Ensure MMS systems are updated and meet Performance Standards. Manage project as-built documentation, after close out of projects /
modifications, in cooperation with document control. Responsible for commercial close-out and lessons learned from project.
Safety:
Follow the safety & environmental policies, guidelines and procedures as directed by the business unit.
Knowledge and qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering qualifications
- Proven project management experience, particularly in an offshore brownfield environment
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in E&P industry
- Broad experience in management of change
Since the location is in The Netherlands the following is critical to this requirement proficiency in Dutch and based in the Netherlands.
