Senior HSE Manager / UAE

The Senior HSE Manager is responsible for providing sites workplace safety leadership focused on compliance with all applicable regulations for all four Geo-markets across SI.   This position promote and deliver safety vigilance that meets Company’s uncompromising commitment to providing and proactively ensuring hazards free workplaces. The SI Senior HSE Manager will provide HSE direction, company/regulatory compliance, procedural training, safe practices enforcement, and required risk management leadership for the site locations/environments. The SI Senior HSE Manager will develop and promote strategies in partnership with SI SVP, Geomarket General Managers, area/country managers aimed at proactively mitigating risk, driving continuous improvement, and making loss control enhancements. The SI regional HSE Manager will function as liaison between offices, divisions, corporate and their region operations and leads efforts to ensure adherence:

• To corporate core values, policies and standards
• To relevant occupational safety, health, environmental & fire safety legislations

Sets and coordinates corporate HSE Standards, Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Key Performance Indicators; and thereafter assure alignment of all Regional locations towards these.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum ten years of previous HSE experience in a Aftermarket/ manage life of filed environment including familiarity with maintenance and test specialties such as heavy lifting, working at heights, pressure testing material handling and rigging.
• At least five years management experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in implementation, maintaining and auditing of the OSHA18001 and ISO14001 Management System
• Familiarity of Industry Standards and relevant industry HSE regulations and requirements.
• Familiarity with behavioral based safety systems, risk analysis / job safe analysis methods, emergency response and crisis management procedures.
• Excellent skills in problem solving, team building, ingenuity and initiative are required to coordinate problem resolution and to execute schedule requirements within a team environment. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken in English) and ability to speak a secondary language is a plus.
