Maintenance Manager / Algeria

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

An international E&P Operating Company looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to work on a rotational basis in Dubai & Algeria. This is a consultant contract opportunity offered on an annual / renewal contract basis.

REGIME AND LOCATION
·Rotational 6 weeks on / 2 weeks leave in Dubai, then 4 weeks on & 4 weeks off in Algeria

Overall Duty:
·The role of the Maintenance Manager is key position within the development team
·The incumbent will ensure that Maintenance functions are achieved
·Ensure that Maintenance compliance is planned and achieved

Job Content:
·Liaisons with PIUL maintenance team to develop CMMS system
·Identify appropriate 3rd party suppliers and specialists
·Perform daily and weekly inspection of facility to ensure smooth operations
·Hire and train maintenance employees to carry out specialized duties
·Delegate maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for effective resolution
·Inspect equipment to identify operational inefficiency and facilitate optimization
·Perform periodic maintenance and routine calibration of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
·Contribute to the planning and execution phase for all TAR activity
·Propose technical recommendations to a maintenance team to ensure an efficient workforce

Profile Requirements
·Good spoken and written English, French and Arabic a distinct advantage
·Seasoned (+15 years) technical professional with a background in Maintenance Operations, Asset management
·Must be a self-starter, highly motivated lead with a proven track record who can recruit, create and develop a team.
·Fully conversant with Maintenance objectives for remote gas plant operations
·Proven leadership and organisational skills and strong personal drive in order to meet deadlines and specific targets.
·Ability to work independently but also as a part of a multi discipline, multi-cultural team.
·Be able to perform coaching and mentoring role for developing staff.
·Good communication and analytical skills are essential.
·BSc or Masters in Engineering
·Must be able to meet the medical requirements to work in Algeria and be below the age of 60.
