Contract: C&P Methods Engineer / France

An oil and gas major operator currently require a Contracts & Procurement Methods Engineer for a major capital oil and gas project, to be based in Paris, France.

The C&P Methods Engineer will provide reliable information on suppliers increasing the efficiency of C&P and participate in the development of the preferred suppliers.

You will analyse the procurement process and identify improvements opportunities; Ensure consistency of C&P referential and its respect by users; Prepare and participate in any audits; Carry out Monthly internal control; Ensure definition and implementation of an integrated C&P reporting process; Ensure C&P weekly, monthly and annual reporting;  Facilitate the internal communication between C&P entities for procurement and contracts matters; Liaise with the shareholder entities about procurement activities and promote exchange of information; Participate or ensure SAP deployment or upgrade regarding MM (link with Finance department, Technical Entities...), facilitate the transition and the use of SAP for procurement matters; Develop and implement materials optimization strategy using SAP; Provide SAP training for end users; and ensure compliance with company rules.

You will have a minimum of 10 years experience within oil and gas industry. You will have worked in a similar Methods based role within Contracts and Procurement.
