Rolling Stock Inspection Engineer: Italian

Our client is a leading railway certification consultancy with global reach. They have a specific request for an Italian Rolling Stock Engineer to inspect the manufacturing of some new trains being built in Italy, which will then be transferred to India. This is a 2 year assignment, the 1st year will be based in Caserta (near to Napoli) in Italy, and the 2nd year will be based on-site in India to make sure the Rolling Stock is tested on site safely.

There are 2 positions available, both experts must be speaking Italian and English language and available for the 2 year assignment. For the 2nd year based in India, all expenses including accommodation and travel will be paid by the client.

Major Responsibilities
Inspection of rolling stock (Car Body, Bogie, cabling interior and exterior fitting, acceptance test of the trains, traction, break test, acoustic emission and energy observation)
The inspection is on behalf of a client, taking place at manufacturing facility as per customer approved inspection and test plan.
Identification of non-conformance and deviation and recommending professed corrective action.
Interacting with Manufacturer, customer, and resolve if any technical problems.

Requirements to apply
Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
At least 10 years experience Rolling Stock Engineering
Rolling stock domain expertise, bogie or brake related is a must
Analytical and methodical problem solving.
Able to complete 2 years assignment, firs year based in Italy and second year in India.
Italian and English language is essential.
