Professional who provides operational input into asset late-life management and decommissioning OPEX management to support the Late Field Late Management (LFLM) Strategy for the Netherlands Region. The job provides specialist technical support and/or service within own discipline to realise asset remaining opportunities, optimise OPEX and reduce ABEX through operational efficiencies and initiatives.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Support the operations review activities for late-life projects and drive project team operations evaluations.
? Undertake late-life asset operations reviews of ways of working and operating philosophy to identify and implement identified activities for reducing OPEX.
? Conduct short and long range operations studies and make recommendations for OPEX reduction.
? Provide operations oversight into the input for setting asset OPEX during decommissioning.
? Contribute to professional and effective operational interfaces with all internal functions and 3rd party contractors.
? Work with LFLM team, cluster operations, production & maintenance managers, decommissioning team and OIMs in the in recognising opportunities for asset re-use, re-deployment and re-purposing.
? Assist with planning and execution of turnaround/shutdown work relevant to late-life and decommissioning requirements.
? Coordinate activities and resolutions to operational problems in late-life to ensure efficiency.
? Responsible for development and tracking of late-life asset KPI’s for operations to provide information on efficiency gains.
? Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
? Contribute to the operations sections of the Late Field Life Management Strategy and updated in compliance with requirements and ensure correctly aligned with other section’s processes.
? Establish, update and follow up operational procedures required to support late-life operations and decommissioning activities.
? Undertake specified technical/support tasks of varying complexity to support professional colleagues in the implementation of LFLM business processes, projects, analysis and resolution of issues and problems.
? Provide operational technical information, interpretation and opinions, with consideration for safety, process safety, integrity and maintenance requirements.
? Provides technical information, outputs and reports as part of peer reviews.
? The job requires asset knowledge and experience.
Higher university degree
? Typically a minimum of 10 years work experience from related area and with at least 2 year in senior operations lead position.
? Requires understanding and efficient application of technical terminology and principles relevant to the discipline.
? The job requires having communication skills to find and require information, and provide technical knowledge and rational arguments for action.
