Description

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Safety engineering:

• Main task:

• Passive fire protection

• Other technical safety tasks:

• Area Classification
• Ignition source control
• Escape routes
• F&G detection and shut down philosophy
• HSE/barrier management during installation

Required Education:

• Master/ Bachelor degree
• Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications

Required Work Experience:
• Min. 8 years’ experience from modification projects in the oil and gas industry in Norway
• Good experience with PFP evaluation and specification
• Experience with major modifications
• Multidiscipline knowledge
• Knowledge to various safety studies (QRA, EPA, CFD, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

• Have good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
