Description

• Establish specifications for procurement of process valves (ball valves, check valves, gate valves, globe valves, choke valves and pressure safety valves) for offshore projects

• Evaluate actual vendors for process valves

• Technical evaluation and clarifications of vendor proposals for process valve deliveries.

• Document review of vendor documentation related to the delivery of process valves

• Responsible for fabrication follow up related to the delivery of process valves

• Responsible for witness testing and perform final inspections related to the delivery of process valves

• Responsible for correct interface between piping system and valves

Requirements

• General knowledge and interest for process valve design and process valve deliveries

• Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering discipline

• Experience with specification of offshore process valves

• Experience with 3rd party classification rules and standards that are applicable for process valve deliveries

• 5 to 10 years work experience as package responsible for fabrication follow up of process valves or equipment for offshore or marine industry

• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and verbal

• Positive, good spirit and good skills to work individually and in project team

• Structured, quality-conscious and motivated to work in a hectic environment
