Qualifications

  • Significant experience in planning, with at least relevant years in a Senior Planning role.
  • Educated to a degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline (preferred).
  • Track record of continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work pro-actively under own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness to learn, share knowledge and learning’s with others.
  • Fluent in English.
Job Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility for producing and maintaining the Corporate Plan for Reservoir & Geosciences which are composed of the activities linked to different Assets and the activities of the other disciplines in the Department as Reservoir & Petroleum Engineering, Geology & Petro physics, Geophysics, Enhanced Oil Recovery and Geo-Information.
  • Be the focal point in the company for Reservoir & Geosciences Planning co-ordination.
  • Identify and raise planning issues (critical path, clashes, early start, interfaces), to monitor progress and therefore to ensure that the planning is a management tool.
  • Ensure availability at all times of updated and accurate scheduling, planning and progress reporting documentation. Review the Departments activities to determine the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in order to develop the schedule for the Department.
  • Liaise with and challenge Reservoir & Geosciences teams to ensure understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers.
  • Communicate on planning issues and propose required procedures.
  • Collect activities information from different teams.
  • Elaborate, update and revise the Department schedule as required by the management.
  • Provide inputs to Five Week and Four Month Integrated Operational Plans IOP.
  • Provide inputs to Four Month, Two Year and Long Term Plans.
  • Deliver Division schedule in order to build the company’s Corporate Plan.
  • Production of Division Dashboards and other files for tracking, controlling and reporting the work progress.
  • Support Departments teams in resolving planning issues.
  • Evaluating impacts to the schedule per proposed changes and claims.
  • Provide detailed and accurate weekly and monthly progress reporting.
  • Liaise with other Planners to validate the information for the IOP.
  • Check and approve TRFs (Task Request Form) created by different Departments in the company.
