We are a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the Oil & Gas Industry. Our client is currently seeking an Asset Integrity, EIT for a 6 month contract (with a chance of contract extension / become a full-time hire) based out of Fort Saint John, BC to join their Asset Integrity team. Your interpersonal and communication skillset will be an asset, as you liaise with various disciplines.
Key Accountabilities:

- Work with area operations staff to optimize maintenance activities in accordance with the client’s Owner User Program (OUP) and Pipeline Management Program
- Co-ordinate maintenance activities, including repair procedures to minimize downtime
- Support with the generation of Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs) within area of responsibility
- Attend corporate integrity network meetings
- Manage crews for Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) repair and maintenance leading up to and including turnarounds
- Support with the management of tank inventories and coordinate tank testing
- Support with the management, execution, and coordination of pipeline risk management, pressure equipment programs and corrosion assessments
- Collaborate with area foremen and the Integrity team on inspection, repair and maintenance issues
- Participate in coordination and execution of facility turnarounds
- Support with the management of equipment inventories by reconciling and updating the database (MAXITRAK) and coordinating testing and servicing
- Support in coordinating and participating in risk based inspections (RBI’s) to optimize inspection intervals
- Job location: Fort St. John, British Columbia
- Shift: 5X2 (Monday to Friday)
- Minimum 2 years of related oil and gas industry experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering and registered as an EIT
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Exposure to Accumap and/or GeoVista, Maxitrak is an asset
- Strong technical writing skills
- Class 5 driver’s license
