Contract: Piping Design Engineer / Norway

We are pleased to offer the following key contract position: Piping design engineer

Work Location: Stavanger

Start date: 24.02.2020 - 31.12.2020

Description

Job Responsibilities:

• PDMS Design & Drawing Production
• Produce Isometrics and other discipline related documents
• Perform Piping work in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering and As-Built phase.
• Perform offshore survey as required

Required Education:

• Technical college, Bachelor or Master degree

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Area engineering Piping and Layout within the Oil & Gas industry in Norway
• Piping Design & Layout
• Experience from Offshore installation
• Offshore survey
• Proficient in the use of AVEVA based software (PDMS/E3D)
• Familiar with 2D Microstation
• Knowledge of Ptil requirements and NORSOK standards

Experience not mandatory but preferable:

• Study experience
• Knowledge of office tools/systems, (e.g. SAP, ProArc, etc.,)
• Basic Safety Training Course
• Fall Protection Training

Required Qualifications:

• Good communication skills (Norwegian is preferred, both verbal and written)
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
