We are pleased to offer the following key contract position: Senior Engineer (s) Pipe Support

Work Location: Stavanger

Start date: 17.02.2020 - 31.05.2021

Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing and drafting Pipe Supports
• Collaborate with Stress and Pipe Engineers for optimal design
• Linking Tags and Documents in our and Client systems related to Pipe Supports
• Experience transfer to junior personnel
• Checking of Pipe Support drawings

Required Education:

• Masters or bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering

Required Work Experience:

• 5 -10 years of fresh experience in pipe support engineering within Brownfield projects in the Oil & Gas industry in Norway
• Experienced in Pipe Support Design
• Experienced in use of PDMS 12.x for both pipe support design and drafting

Preferable but not required

• Experience in use of Cloud Works
• Experience in use of Microstation
• Experienced and willing to travel offshore for surveys
• Basic Safety Training Course
• Fall Protection Training

Required Qualifications:

• Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian(preferable) both orally and in writing
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
