Description
1.1 Stakeholder Management
• Own assigned categories across business segments: liaise with team and stakeholders to plan and execute necessary activities and resolve issues as they are identified
• Provide regular updates and escalate issues to Procurement Unconventionals Manager as necessary
• Drive deadlines for key activities and proactively monitor progress on KPIs
1.2 Strategic Sourcing
• Operate as primary sourcing and contracting professional for planned sourcing events
• Support Business Line with strategic sourcing plans
• Upload and maintain strategy documents to deliver on Equinor principles
• Conduct market / commodity / pricing research and analytics as it relates to specific sourcing events – supported by Should- Cost and Total-Cost-of-Ownership models where applicable
• Ensure supplier qualification process is properly executed: coordinate with SSU on safety qualification, perform necessary insurance verifications, complete financial and vendor risk checks and update vendors database accordingly
• Achieve high value, low carbon, and safety excellence results in all tendering processes
1.3 Contract Management
• Own the creation and on-going management of assigned contracts/categories
• Drive contracts negotiations in collaboration with Legal, the Business Line and external vendors
• Resolve any outstanding contract issues, invoicing issues, and claims/disputes as they come forward during supplier relationship
• Proactively act to change contracts as appropriate
• Upload and maintain all agreements in current and good standing, update and maintain current relevant data in the Supplier Qualification List (SQL)
1.4 Supplier Management
• Schedule and facilitate Supplier Quality Review meetings for assigned suppliers
• Liaise with global category managers on Tier 1 suppliers management
• Drive the improvement of supplier rate validation and invoicing alignment
Position may require
up to 20% travel to offices in the US.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years’ experience
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience with change management, process development and problem solving
• Experience with Sourcing & Contracting
• Experience with Oil & Gas/Energy related operations
