Responsibilities and Tasks:

Evaluate, develop and maintain the technology strategy within the discipline
Develop roadmaps, in close cooperation with external and internal partners, to secure and build the company’s technological competitive edge according to overall company strategy
Drive innovation; participate in relevant steering committees for innovation projects and monitor competitors, start-ups and emerging and disruptive technologies
Participate in budget processes, cultivate customer relationships and be an active player in mergers and acquisition processes, as required
Be a dynamic and dedicated member of the Technology Team

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical engineering or related technical engineering degree and a strong focus on business development and innovation, is preferred
10+ years' relevant professional experience from oil and gas industry or related industry
Broad experience and understanding of technology and engineering practices
A proven track record developing innovative solutions and technology
You are able to communicate effectively; especially the vision and goals for the organization
Ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization and build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
