Regional Sourcing Manager SEA / Singapore

Supporting a regional transformation of the procurement group, you will be responsible as the South East Asia Regional Sourcing Manager for supporting a remote team of Sourcing Leaders through a major change as the business looks to maximize efficiencies in its procurement process.

Procurement is being centralized and new processes and systems are being implemented, so you’ll need to ensure that your team is supported through this process and also adheres to these new processes. You’ll need to look at each country and assess and implement a strategy to align them.

You’ll be working for a leading engineering and technology business with a number of new projects ahead of them, so you’ll need to be someone who can look not just at the sourcing strategy and commercial terms for the next big project but think three/four projects ahead and you’ll need to be a proven negotiator with strong commercial experience in order to achieve the best results.

You’ll most likely be working in the chemicals or utilities industry with experience of complex sourcing needs, remote team management and regional experience.
