Contract: Geomatics Engineer/GIS / Norway

Work Location: Oslo (Fornebu) is preferred location, but Stavanger is also an alternative

Start date: 01.02.2020 - 31.07.2020

Option period: 3 x 2 months

Description

• Support concept development, project execution, modification and operation with geographical data, layout planning, maps, web maps, analysis and visualisation of spatial information for specific projects.
• Management of infrastructure geographical data and survey data.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Relevant working experience
• Geomatics experience (geodesy / GIS / cartography)
• Good knowledge of Esri ArcGIS tools
• Geographical data management experience is preferred

Personal qualities:

• Strong HSE focus, e.g. related to data security
• Good teamwork abilities, strong collaboration and communication skills
• Dedicated, responsible and motivated
• Structured, systematic and result oriented
• Ability to learn and adapt fast
• Good English skills, both oral and written

Other requirements:

• Local candidates preferred (Stavanger or Oslo).
