A mid sized business with projected growth over the next couple of years this is the opportunity for an Experienced Project Manager to manage 4-8 projects at a a time. Supported by and reporting to the Director your role will see you managing and being responsible for all aspects of the build whilst managing the contracts and site staff.

The Specs:

  • Ability to run numerous detailed, high end architectural projects simultaneously and defect free
  • Ability to schedule projects, managing and coordinating relevant project team members in a high production environment
  • Prepare for weekly meetings regarding project schedules, budgets and labour resources
  • Ability to control cost overruns, manage a budget and labour allocations
  • Ability to manage sub-contractor and carpentry trade performance and quality control
  • Problem solve issues with Architects, Engineers & Site Supervisors
  • Strong understanding of architectural plans, engineering, specifications & schedules
  • Strong knowledge of all codes, standards & council regs
  • Strong verbal, written and digital literacy and must adapt to using technology efficiently
  • Moderate to Strong computer skills
  • Liaising with Contract Administrator and Site Supervisors on a daily basis to work as a team
  • Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and local authorities
  • Ensuring Site Supervisors are conducting SWMS, inductions, team meetings and ensuring safe job sites
  • Establishing targets for yourself, your team and the projects
  • Ensure all communications with clients, staff, contractors and supervisors are ongoing and prompt

You:
  • Must have previous residential Project management experience 
  • Previous carpentry experience in highly desirable
  • Previous exposure/experience in scheduling principles and techniques
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills where you’re able to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders
