Description

• Design/analysis related to modification of a Living Quarter.
• The structure shall follow the stressed-skin principle.
• The task is to develop and maintain a Sesam Genie analysis model, design the necessary modifications on the structure and to write analysis documentation.
• The consultant will be under the leadership of the in-house discipline lead.

Requirements

Primary qualifications:

• Experienced and skilled in the analysis software Sesam Genie, for steel structures
• Steel design according to NS-EN1993 Eurocode 3 all parts
• Experience with stressed-skin design & multi-stiffened plate structures loaded in shear
• Hand-calculation capacity checks of nodes, joints, members and welds
• Experience with modification projects
• NORSOK-standards & experience with offshore projects

Requested qualification:

• University (Master)

Requested number of years of relevant experience:

• 5-10 years
