We are currently helping a South London-based Engineering business to identify and appoint a new Quality Manager to their busy manufacturing facility. This is a high-profile role for the business that will support, mentor and develop the Quality function on- site.

The Business:
Our client are an Electrical and Mechanical Engineering business, based in South London with excellent commuter links to Croydon and connecting trains through London Bridge.  A market-leader in their field, our client provide a wide range of critical equipment to the Scientific Industry. They’re an excellent business who pride themselves on a professional and efficient service with a highly demanding customer-base.

The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful Quality Manager will play a critical role in maintaining accreditation to ISO17025 calibration standards and liaising with both Internal and External Auditors. You will be comfortable speaking to auditors and driving Quality Standards across the business.

In addition, you will be responsible for driving improvement and ensuring continued compliance with all the relevant Health and Safety legislation. Although this role appears to have a large remit, the rewards on offer will ensure your skill-set is well rewarded.

The Candidate:
The successful Quality Manager is likely to come from a similar Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background and will be comfortable explaining complex engineering problems to non-trained Engineers.

In addition, you will have experience of leading Internal Audits and maintaining an audit-ready site at all times.
