Senior Civil Designer

Location: New Orleans, LA

Role Description:

The candidate will participate on a design team on a large heavy industrial/mining project.

The candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:

Create full concrete and steel construction documents
Coordinate structural drawings with other disciplines for compliance, alignment and correctness

Education and Experience:

10 - 15 years minimum experience in heavy industrial structural design and layout
Work with the engineering staff in the preparation of concrete and steel design documents
Take engineering sketches to full development of plans, sections and details as required for the completion of construction documents
Experience in the development of 3D models of concrete and steel structures in Bentley 3D, AutoCad ProStructure or CaddWorxx software packages
Experience in SP3 and or PDMS is most desirable and will be considered a plus
